The special course “wreck diving” is intended to provide a safe and supervised introduction to
be the techniques used in wreck diving.
Diving on wrecks is diving into the past and always with a little goosebumps
connected. It is a fascinating experience to see large ships from a bird’s eye view and
to float up to the captain’s bridge. Of course there are also tragic fates and fates
Wrecks that only lie on the ocean floor in detail.
Diving wrecks is exciting and not entirely harmless – with the right training it becomes
but a great adventure experience.
- Course contents:
We start with a theory unit. The four open water dives take place on two wrecks in Hurghadal.
By the end of the course, you will have learned:
– Planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and dangers of wreck diving
– Correct procedures for buoyancy control, navigation and communication.
– Use of lamps and techniques from the buddy system.
– Procedure in the event of loss of orientation
- Course Requirements:
• Certification: Open Water Diver
• Minimum age 12 years
• sufficient swimming skills
• good physical condition
